Moira Gadzic is the founder and master tailor for MG Tailoring. She was born into sewing. As the daughter of a seamstress, Moira’s childhood was filled with fabric remnants and fashion magazines. She pursued her craft professionally with a degree in Fashion and Design in her home country of Croatia, which was a short ferry ride away from the esteemed Italian fashion scene.

After her move to Colorado, Moira perfected her craft with 19 years of working with one of Denver's best tailors, “Eric's Custom Men's and Women's Clothing” before deciding it was time to start her own company focusing on women's clothing. Her extensive skills and experience in design and tailoring for all fabrics and body types, sets Moira apart. Her work is true artistry.

“One of my earliest childhood memories is waiting for my mom to take her afternoon nap (common European practice, right next to espresso and gossip). The moment she fell asleep, I cut two pieces of fabric to make a skirt. I went over to the sewing machine, sat down to sew, but I was so little my feet didn't reach the floor pedal. So I recruited my little brother to turn the side wheel for the needle to move while I sewed. I rushed to try it on but was heartbroken to find it was too tight and ripped open at the seams. The best part was, I didn’t get caught playing with the sewing machine. Fast forward to today, still as adventurous with sewing, but I’m luckily much better at it.” -Moira
